Jayne wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror. He sees a hard man with fire in his eyes and determination in his steps. Jayne wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror. He sees a haggard man who feels the loss despite the win. A few days’ worth of stubble covers his face and his dull eyes look back in indifference, there are more important things on his mind. Jayne wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror. He sees a content man with a loopy grin on his face. A small hand pops over his shoulder to caress the smooth, clean-shaven skin of his cheek while dark hair and brown eyes peek out from behind him. Pulling her in front of him, he gazes at the picture they make. Contrasting yet complimenting; a living juxtaposition. He hugs her tight and kisses the crown of her head. He’s happy, hopeful, renewed; a man in love.
