wooot!!!! Not fan fic - children's stories. But I just did 50,040 words despite being away for three days at the Doctor Who 50th birthday party convention!

oh this is amusing! Am watching a recorded Warehouse 13 episode (Season 3 Ep 5) - and whose gone from Torchwood to Warehouse 12 but GDL! Playing a sweet and capable Victorian working for Warehouse 12.

Good to see he's working AND got himself into a decent on-going serial. Go GDL!

I hate chain emails, I think they tend to either be emotional blackmail or ill thought out and half of them which purpote to make an intellectual or political point are based on what turns out to be an internet hoax ( Read more... )

We're home! Got home last night. He's pretty good, all things considered. NOT fond of loud noise at the moment - he has a pretty-much continous headache and will have for a while yet. No school for 3 weeks and no playground activity, gym or drama for a few weeks after that. At-home visit by a neuro nurse in a few weeks and then an outpatients visit ( Read more... )

My 5 year old son fell down the stairs this afternoon. Massive lumps on his head, and crying his eyes out. He didn't pass out, didn't vomit. We gave him some calpol (paracetomol in suspension, children's painkiller) and then he got VERY sleepy - as in, we had to lift him up to wake him.
