Hiking to Lake Garibaldi.

The last hike I went on was a bit of a challenge for me, but I think that I just went to fast, trying to keep up with my dad's friends. My dad, while hiking, is a machine, moving slowly but steadily upward, never stopping. Today, I kept pace with him. As a result, I was almost never tired, and we hiked about 24 kilometers. About 15 miles. That's quite a hike. (Okay, I admit it: I'm just proud of myself for knowing a rough miles-to-kilometer conversion.)

Usually I find physical activity to be a really good thing if I'm not doing well mentally. Endorphins get moving, it's easier to leave behind anything bothering you, and you sleep so much better afterwards. I have occasionally experienced a crash in the next day or two when soreness and fatigue hit -- make sure to take care of yourself tomorrow!

Man, I was so gonna be like -- that's about 15 miles (also just a guess from my head), but you beat me to it!!

Also the same thing about the endorphins and exercise and stuff! IT'S LIKE YOU READ MY MIND!!!

Well, the last time I went on a major hike (last weekend, actually!) it messed with me because I was too hard on my body. Not so, this time. And yeah, I'll take care of myself today, by sitting on a bus and (hopefully) a train for hours on end and attempting to get back into America with an expired passport...
(Actually, I feel pretty good this morning, just a little stiff. My bus doesn't leave till this afternoon, so I should be able to get in a nice cooldown walk.)

Day-after stretches are a gooood thing.

Yeah, you can push past the place where exercise helps to where it just takes too much outta you. I hit that spot easily with hiking -- not because of general fitness, but my bad knee and ankle don't handle it well. I really have to be ridiculously extereme to hit that point on my bike.

Hoperfully you'll get a nice agent and not someone overly officious.
