I read about epilepsy when I had to write a protagonist who experienced seizures. It was hard to find good resources for what a seizure felt like for the person having it.
I hope that you're able to manage them well enough that they don't interfere a lot with your life.
Everyone's seizures are different. My mom also has petit mals, and hers only last a few seconds. I've never even noticed her have one. I don't think she has auras like I do. It's probably hard to find accounts of what it's like because the person is literally unaware of them. My own blackouts took place in the middle of the strange feelings I describe in my post
