Does it seem like if you're there for a while they'll give you more sane shifts? or is this something you need to look for better employment in your (extremely limited) free time?

As for shifts, it's mostly afternoons, with a open thrown in just to fuck with me, and some weeks its workworkwork, and other times I don't get enough hours to live off of.

That's like win/win, right?

There are no jobs better than this, minimum wage jobs, in general suck, don't pay a liveable wage and violate the labour rules with glee. And if you complain you get black listed from every other craptastic job out there.

I think part of the stress is also that I don't get to go o school and this time of the year is a constant reminder that everyone else gets to.

well there ARE always SOME bonuses...you should drop a resume in at costco at some point. no degree's necessary, maximum 20ish dollars/hour....some health coverage if you get enough hours. I'm not guarenteeing that you'd get in there, but you can always use me as a reference if you want.
