It provides an organized way to file one's reports.

That's his own fault for shirking work and running about the Order. I would also like to point out that these statements have the advantage of not being on his floor (although keeping hard copies of records is of course important).

In fact, perhaps I ought to retrieve a few copies I had sent up there. It's not as if anything will come of them with Chief Lee still missing, despite the efforts of Assistant Faye and Chief Wenhamm.

Oohh, but dear Yu, this is a great way to keep in contact with people even during busy times! It means you don't have to arrange meetings, does it not? And me being a General we can't see each other as often as I would like, so this is just a great way to still get to talk, don't you think? Even if it's not face to face.

But... I almost feel as if you're avoiding me a little... But you're not, right? I wouldn't be able to handle the thought of one my lovely students ever avoiding me! It would make me so sad!

But, dear, you do know that journals are supposed to be longer than just one line, right? You've always been a boy of few words, but this is an opportunity to say more without having to talk! Share a little bit more of yourself!
