To start off, here is a list of links to all the fanfiction I've posted before on Livejournal. I have a few more pieces which haven't appeared on LJ before, which I will be adding to this journal soon. I'm amazed to discover that I've written so many drabbles!

Drabbles:

2004:
The Only Jealousy of Éowyn (Faramir/Éowyn)
A Window* (Faramir)
Oasis* ( Read more... )

stewards, eowyn, fanfiction, hobbits, boromir, finduilas, faramir, drabbles, silmarillion, double drabbles, movieverse, essays, denethor, gondor

Yes, me too! It's hard to believe how fast they build up! I'm also surprised that I wrote as many drabbles in 2006 as I did in 2004.

It's so cool to see all those links here...I keep popping over here and re-reading this or that piece! And seeing the list for the first time felt just SO exciting. :) I really LOVE your drabbles!

...And I hope there are many many many more to come :-D

Wanted to leave you a comment for A Persistent Assistant, but faramir_fics doesn't let non-members comment! What a great way to encourage people *sigh*

Anyway:

I love that drabble :-D You wrote such perfect piece of fluff, and I LOVE IT! :)

This looks like the right place to write it. lilan14 March 20 2009, 16:02:04 UTC
I went to fanfiction.net today and I ended up reading some of your drabbles...and wow. I was even a little sorry I'd reviewed all but two of them, because I suddenly got such a powerful reminder about how much I love them that I nearly started crying. Seriously, which is why I'm glad there's no one else at the office right now...

You really are one of the best drabble authors ever; somehow, what you come up with is so intelligent and classy, loaded with meaning and concise at once, and so beautiful it gives me a lump in my throat and a wish to learn each and every drabble by heart. A lot of what I read also corresponds to my personal taste, of course: give me something with a nice beat and I'll squee my head off - and rhythm is what you're an absolute master of.

And your insights into characters are just brilliant...you seem to grasp the most important things about them, and sometimes manage to speak volumes about them without even mentioning particular traits or feelings explicitly; somehow, it all just is there ( ... )
