This drabble comes from a discussion that lilan14 and I had earlier this week. We were talking about the song "Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears," which is about Annie Moore, a fifteen-year-old Irish immigrant to the United States and the first person to pass through Ellis Island. That's so sweet...everything, from the picture of the scared kids huddled together to the mention of garden!! I squeed when I saw that, as it immediately made me think of Faramir and Eowyn!

It also makes me a little wistful, because things are soon going to get quite tough for them...but for this moment, it's such a lovely, hopeful and bright picture. Your girl is so...bouncy!
