The Wild GeeseFaramir had run merrily about the garden all morning, and now it was time for his nap. Finduilas sat by his bed, waiting for him to fall asleep. It would not be long, she thought. His eyelids were drooping already

A lovely bitter sweet drabble.

This drabble is so beautiful! The scene starts out as very vivid and pretty domestic, but somehow it gets this somewhat dreamlike quality as Finduilas talks. By the end, it sounds like she's picturing it all to herself as well...

And of course I like Faramir as a happy and healthy child. :) And Finduilas herself looking after him. And a grey cloudy sky. In short, a lovely drabble -- as are all of yours. *grins*
