I only have one question
She suddenly scooped a handful from my treasured bowl of strawberries and ran back the way she came.
Why?
If any other human being has done this course of action, I would have chased them all the way down to hell and let them feel my fury. My friends, my pets, my band mates - not even my mom would get away without a glare (although I would be scolded and be guilty afterwards).
But not her. Why?
My eyes are fixated on her as she playfully teases me about the strawberries that she got triumphantly.
Why, why, why?
When she took a piece of that juicy red fruit into her mouth, it didn't feel like the world is ending - as it felt when any other living creature eats it. It felt even wonderful to watch the scene.
Why?
And then it hit me as she flashed her beautiful smile at me.
I like her more than I like strawberries.
