Aah, that's a pretty dangerous thing for us humans. Thinking is something we're both good at and poor at, all at once. Though it isn't really our fault, seeing as how thinking has so many paths to take.

What is our fault, however, are any poor choices we may make and act on.

Indeed. The paths we choose either lead us to good things, or things we wouldn't wish for, all at once.

...however, I think it might have been a poor choice of mine, and I'm not too fond of that.
