First in a series: Odd music in Asian restaurants

David and I have noticed that many Asian restaurants have some really odd music playing in the background. From the Thai place that played the same Poison album over and over, to the Korean barbecue with a flute version of "Maria" from West Side story on continuous loop, to the hip Korean bar/restaurant playing very loud, very angry rap. Okay,now a techno mix would be great! Definitely a step up from anything by Poison or fluted show tunes.

Oh, yeah. Definitely a step up, just a bit weird. And I guess it sort of fits--unusual music, unusual food.

Poison!?!? Everyone knows you play hair bands at Indian places. Thai restaurants are supposed to play operettas and excruciatingly loud volumes.
