Sorry but I can't buy a professional hockey player playing with AIDS, and not having a whole lot of people know about it.

I may be in a minority but these characters didn't really come alive for me, Sidney was a bit to perfect and Eric seemed a bit to much like a mouthpiece for correct views rather than a concerned brother. Maybe it was trying to fit the whole arc of his life into the fic, it would be really interesting to see what a small slice of their lives would be like given that this is a topic that is seldom written about in many sports fandoms.

But I applaud you for trying something different.
