Oh, God. Nikky. This was incredibly sad, and touching, and I love it and hate it all at once, because it's so good, but makes me so sad. *laughs*

Seriously, excellent job with this. Heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, but beautiful none-the-less.

There is just not enough Nikolai Zherdev fic out there. (Also, I love that almost everyone who writes Jackets!fic puts Rick and Rusty together *G*)

Okay, the somewhat-more-coherent comment:

- I loved the inter-paragraph bits in this. The flashbacks in italics, and all. Really gorgeous, showing their lives in humorous and sweet ways, and contributed to the soft-sad, not burning-sad, feel of the fic. (Does that make sense at all? Gack.)

- NIKKY!! *bawls*

- Also, Rick/Rusty? Rick/Rusty being cute and loving and helpful toward Sergei/Nik? Dear lord I love you. And that Sergei had to have help falling asleep...yeah, love that to death. *eats*

But, god, the night he said he wanted to die, I broke completely.

- Bwaaaaaahhhhh! *tears up and hugs Sergei and Nikky tight* That line totally broke me.

- No, seriously, I loved the intercalary bits. The lightness, the humor, the love. If you ever wrote more fluffy/romancy Sergei/Nik I would gobble it up like woah.

- Eeef, Rick/Rusty is so there. Some things are just fact. Ricky/Rusty, Nikky/Sergei, Naslund/Bertuzzi, all four Staal brothers...
I feel bad for not writing them more. I get so squeegigglyNikky!obsessed that I never have time for any of my other Jackets. *sighs* Stupid Nikky. *whaps him*
