This was a great and very apt ending. I figured Karasu would get his "ultimate rape", but I actually thought he would be allowed to kill Youko as well. I am quite happy he didn't, though! And that last scene where you brought in the detectives, as well as Youko's final line in the story. It was just brilliant! I'm not even sure why I liked that line so much, but it just seemed to fit so well. Great job writing this! It's a wonderful story.

So now I just must ask, what is your meaning behind the title?

I love the ending, how Youko made everything right in his own way, damn the consequences. And Yusuke and Kuwabara as cops? Brilliant. HAHAHAHAHA.

There is no happy ending when Karasu is involved. I love the fucking/stabbing/fighting...it's like you took that scene out of the Dark Tournament and twisted it into something beautiful to fit this story, which is easily one of the best stories I've read this year.

I would love to see a side story with Hiei and Shuuichi from this tale. Preferably a sex scene...yanno, to tie up those loose ends. *cough* But that's just me being a horny yaoi fangirl. As usual.

Yes, I'm aware that everyone's said it, but goddamn, the ending was perfect. Didn't see it coming, but I loved the last line. And the "(suspect seems irritated) part made me snicker. He's completely aware of the consequences, and he doesn't give a damn, and you expressed it perfectly in that one line.

Yusuke and Kuwabara as detectives? So totally apt.

I did somewhat imagine the final showdown to be like this, though a part of me expected Youko to die. I like how you wrote it much better.

I love tragic endings, though. The twist with Karasu raping Kuronue in order to keep Youko safe was awesome. Didn't see it coming, at all. And now Youko is going to prison, for avenging his lover~
