This was very interesting. I liked the dialogue between Todd and Nick. Your characters are very realistic and engaging. Nick especially as he just draws you into the story. The only thing was, I think, at the beginning, the tenses kept switching, but other than that, this was extremely well written and a good read. I hope you will continue.

Thank you. Everyone seems to like Nick, so I think that will really encourage me to experiment with different types of characters in the future. I agonized over the characters and whether or not they were realistic, so I'm happy to hear that they were.

Argh! I'll have to comb through it. I nearly always write in past tense, so it is so very easy for me to slip back into that habit no matter what I happen to be writing. Thank you for letting me know that there are some problems in that respect.

Oh, I will, no fears. Unfortunately school has resumed, so I have very little time on my hands. Sometime next week, I would say, since I'll be having short days for finals.
