Today, instead of the usual topic (which seems to have gone astray over the last month or so...sorry about that), I thought I'd post a poll.

I was looking at what topics to discuss and I realised that we have such a diverse group that I did not know exactly what everyone would be interested in.

I write fiction, no genre.

I've always written non-fiction, usually creative non-fiction using tales of my own experiences to draw life-altering conclusions. ;) Okay, so maybe a little less lofty than that, but still! My topics have covered childhood and other family situations, religion, relationships, and so forth.

Currently, I write Dean's Letters for my medical university (they're required to allow students to register and interview for residency), which I love, since I'm writing about real people, real situations, and real experiences. They're also good fodder for characters after you get to know them, lol.

My "other" in genre is psychological thriller, though I'm currently writing literary fiction and lots of little nonfiction vignettes/essays I'm putting together for my daughter.
