as a mom id be so afriad of her staining it. it would be the sunday bib over her dress or something. its the kind of thing you pass on to the next child you have,because it was obviously well made with love.

Yeah, it's probably more of a "dressy" type thing...but you're also talking to the child who had smocked nightgowns and playclothes. I don't worry as much about staining them. ;)

we never worried about it either, and i dont fuss over leilas clothes, but if she gets something handmade, its always kept so i do at least try to keep it nice.
