While bored on holiday I started thinking of the age-old question, "what would the characters end up to be if the virus never happened?" which evolved into the question of "how would they all meet?", and turned in to me playing some kind of weird connect-the-characters game, ending up with 5-6 pages in my notebook of simply ideas for what they

I really enjoyed reading it. It's fun to think about what things happened because of the virus (so you can't use them) and what had already happened before (so you can use them)

Thank you. Yeah, it's difficult to remember sometimes, that two people who were very close on the show can't even know each other. But it's fun to try and find ways they could.

I must say, I like how you kept Zan and Lex together, and as Zan said on her hen night in episode 33 she wanted Lex from the first time she saw him :P and it is a very plausible plot you have for the two. well most of the story is plausible, however, I don't see Amber as a lawyer. but I do see Gel as a beautician.

This is fantastic! It's been ages since I read a decent tribe fanfic. I used to write them myself under the pen name 'tribebohemian' but that was in another life :)

Anyway, I absolutely love this idea. I once played with some plot bunnies about what life would be like for the tribe characters had the virus never happened. But your idea of Danni's father blowing up the lab and killing the project fullstop is brilliant!

So far I've found your use and placement of the characters to be just right. How they know each other makes sense and in this chapter didn't feel forced. That's the hardest part, I think; finding a reason for all the characters to be connected.

I really look forward to reading more and will keep checking my friends page for updates :D
