A glimpse into my chaos...
Hey everybody! I wanted to post some pix of my work area/studio....its a complete shambles right now! Its not for lack of space...I have this entire garage and the attached patio:
I've warned you the pix will be really bad...so here it goes.
I make vintage ornament wreaths, which takes much space for storage and construction. Here are a few peeks into the patio area that is supposed to be my work/storage area:
And here is a picture of our fun screened gazebo...full of my ornament stuff!!!!
Not so bad? Wait...there's more! Take a step into the garage....
What the heck is all this stuff? Magazines, luggage, lamps, and just tons of stuff that needs to be sorted, used, put away or just get out of my space!!!
Here are a couple of pictures of my old computer area (the husband got me a laptop last Christmas)...so now this one is his and my daughters game box!
Of course, there are still works in progress, supplies, and such all over the place...
Here are a few of my "work" areas...I couldn't get anything done here if I tried!

See the white lamp? There's a really neat school desk under there with all my water colors, tons of buttons and other pretty tiny and shiny things...I think...
This is my favorite workbench...it is where I used to be able to do all my hand held power tools related work. It has about a dozen electrical outlets built into it, and just look at it!
Some where in this picture are several of my big power tools...scroll saw, couping saw, band saw, table saw, radial arm saw, belt sander....but could I get to them to save my life?
This one has more of my big boy tools...all just sitting there, alone and unloved...
Here is a picture of some of my supplies/storage areas...and the shelf I painted for my daughters room.
The bags and boxes in this picture are full of vintage fabrics, linens, quilts...all waiting to be transformed.
So where do I work? Not in this huge space...in my living room and my bedroom! Here is a picture of my living room during one of my latest projects:

But because my studio/storage area is such a mess...all of my jewelry/beading and hand sewing supplies are shoved under it:
I know it wasn't pretty....but this is my New Years resolution...I will clear my areas...I will be able to work in my studio...I will take back my space!!! (Give me a month or so, and it will be all pretty again) And if any of you are in SoCal and have a free week...
