Doctor Who Icons

Jul 03, 2008 23:18

Just a few because they HAVE to be posted before the final ... and I don't see me making more before it's over- damn. But "Turn Left" and "The Stolen Earth" icons will come, you just wait ^^

I got a new layout, for anyone who's interested. Still lacking a proper header but, hey, it's in the making!

About the "TEN LIVES!" Icon - I EVEN GOT A T-Read more... )

Please, please don't take this the wrong way, but there's one small critique I'd like to make. I might be wrong about this, but I thought that wasn't the right time stamp in the UK. Where 07/05/2008 actually references May 7th, not July 5th. If I'm wrong, please ignore this.

Yeah I know this ... in Germany it's the same. I just had to decide which way to go (America having it the other way around ...) and as, by now, I have met more Americans in my icon journal, I decided to use their time stamp ... urg ... maybe I should have made both? I hate it - why can't we have ONE bloody system for it?

I'm American myself which is why I thought it interesting that you used the numerical system used here for a British show. Both might have been good. *nod* I know! And in America, we don't use the same weights and measures as everybody else! And then there is the temperature. We use Fahrenheit, everybody else uses Celsius. *sighs* I don't know why America wants to be different. It just makes all of us Americans confused.

*laughs* poor things ;) and see, even you're American - told you I had more of you guys floating around than british people or ... well, anywhere else. I guess it must be confusing ... but it is for us, too. I can'T even talk to an american about the weather (which is usually the most boring subject around) without doing maths - really confusing ^^
