And then it hit her with a jolt-- she was alive. She forced her eyes open again, blinking to try to focus them. She tried to speak, but made no sound-- she coughed a little, and then tried again. "M-Mewtwo-san?" She managed, a quiet, mewling sound.

"Shia," he greeted her, faint traces of satisfaction entering his voice.

Mewtwo remained still for several minutes until he was certain that she was asleep. Silently, he floated back to the same spot on the floor he had emerged from, a circular hole appearing as he approached. He changed his mind before entering and instead went outside. He had to think, and he had always found the night sky to help him concentrate his mind.
This was not what he had expected at all- he hadn't expected that Shia would have to stay with him when he had revived her. He hadn't thought at all. There was no way to avoid her now, and the uncomfortable questions that she raised.
