This whole cross-posting of posts and comments to Facebook and Twitter is looking rather grim. :<

I must still be living in the last century, since I don't get why anyone would want to post/comment and let the entire world know what they just did.

Feels good to know that everyone else's life is just as mundane, lol.

I felt the same way about Livejournal for a LONG TIME. But I still ended up getting one and actually using it.

As for Twitter, I still kind of fail to see the point. I really don't need a real-time blow-by-blow of people's lives. Especially since in my experience, most people post stuff like, "I'm waiting in the line at the bank! I've been here two minutes now! Then I'm going to the bathroom! I've gotta do a number 2! I'll tweet again when I'm on the can!"

Wait, that kind of sounds like my journal some days...

Now that I've been stalking Twitter, I think it has quite the potential for up-to-date news items. Although one would have to pick and choose reliable and sensible Tweet sources... naturally.

LJ's a blog, so I've always kinda accepted the idea... Plus LJers generally put more thoughts into their posts compared to what I've seen on FB and Twitter.
