Jack's so conflicted in this - angry, hurt, betrayed, but also guilty and ashamed that he never bothered to try to talk to Ianto, really find out about him, just took him for granted and treated him more like office furniture than a person.
Ianto's also conflicted, I don't think he really knows what he wants at this point - his life, and even his purpose for living, has been destroyed and he doesn't know if he can pick up the pieces and and go on, or even if he wants to.
