Thank you. It's getting easier. I mean, I'm still sad, and I think about her a lot. (More than when she was alive, to be honest.) But as I said, she was so unhappy the last few years. I think she's happier now.

I'm sorry for your loss, but glad she's at peace. I felt the same feeling of calm when my own grandparents died. It's a comfort to know that those we've lost are now free from the pain and drudgery of everyday life.

Still, I will keep you and your family in my thought. It's hard to be separated from someone you love.

Thanks, hon. It's rough for my family, but harder I think for my aunt and cousin, like I said. I love/d her, of course, but they were the closest to her. I've gone on to the calm place, but I'm not sure about them.

So Sorry to hear about your Grandma. I like thinking those that have left us are young & healthy & vibrant and are met by others that have gone before. It gives a measure of comfort to know they are being welcomed & have no worries now.
