Huh, that was quite good, you know. I'm a little shocked right now because I know you don't like Ginny well and you're obsessed with Remus/Bellatrix, so congratulations on overstepping boundaries. :D The last line was brilliant.

*Salutes* Burning bridges and crossing boundaries, that's me, Captain O' Captain.

The last line was brilliant.

Thanks; I thought it didn't make any sense at all (well, it doesn't) but I wrote the last line first and then went and wrote the actual fic. Are you ever going to write Lily/Giant Squid? Not that I *coughs* am looking forward to it, no, of course not, just wondering...

Oh wow, travelfic. Love the imagery, especially "Africa, where the village wizards map the patterns of time into the desert sands and see meanings in the reflected light of the moon..."

Poor Ginny, and poor Sirius and Harry. That's quite sad.

Thank you! I was afraid it'd come off as being too sentimental and drippy, but gods, I want to go to Africa someday.

As everyone has already said, beautiful imagery and tone. I agree with guza - if JKR had written Ginny like this I would have probably liked her. It's only her mary-sue-like lack of insecurities that makes me utterly despise canon!Ginny.

Sirius/Ginny is interesting, and something I wondered about when she said that she cared as much about Sirius as the trio did.

Again, lovely ... I don't know - surreal?, magical tone :)

*Blushes* You really have no idea how flattering that is *is flattered* and yep, I was thinking about when she said she cared about Sirius; what if she wasn't exaggerating?

Hmm. Maybe Ginny was languishing in love with uncaring!Sirius? That's a thought! :D

Wait, no, that can't happen - Ginny's in love with Michael, remember? I mean Dean. Neville. Harry? Her 'long mane of hair' draws them in...

Wow. I love how bittersweet this is. Guh. I don't know what to say, other than that I liked it very much.

Thanks! I think Ginny might have a thing for dark-haired men; Tom, Harry, Sirius...not that I ship any of them...*coughs*

I really like this story, very nice wistful love on Ginny's part. In love with Sirius as he was, as he is and knows she'll never be what he wants.

Ah, that's the point I was trying to make! That she's in love with someone he used to be but isn't anymore, and he'll never see her as anything beyond Ron's little sister.
