Summer Has Begun in Proper Now--yay

This past (long) weekend has been a good commencement for summer. It even felt like summer, and I think that the laid-back, smoothly flowing, 'busy' feel of the weekend will also characterize summer. I had been with Autumn since Thursday, which has been nice. I've never spent as much time with anyone else ever as I have with her--so props in ( Read more... )

Sometime I will make a longer comment on this, but as for right now, DEGRASSI is on, so I will only ask one simple question...
By Cody did you mean Chad?

I was thinking the same thing.

Also, if you learn hypnosis in the future, I want to do it.

As for the Cody/Chad thing, see the below comment.

For the moment I'm focusing on self-hypnosis, but the tactics you use on yourself vs. other people are almost the same. If I ever perfect it, you'll be on my list. Consider yourself privileged, grasshopper.

God damnit, yes. I meant fucking Chad. I don't understand why I always get those two names mixed up. I think it has something to do with your former gay friend Cory, whose name and gayness just gets mixed up in the whole bunch, resulting in me not having any idea who's who. I'll try to get it right from now on.

We saw part of American Haunting, but it was a joke.

How truly disappointing. I have been desiring a good horror movie for some tme now, but there seems to be little in the future that looks good. Even The Omen seems silly in spite of its potential, and the whole "murderous evil child" thing doesn't really work (just see Godsend if you don't believe me).

I was done with the movie after an unseen spectre drags a young 18th century girl around her room by the hair, then picks her up off the floor and bitch smacks her repeatedly across the face.

That sounds like the sort of awesomely bad thing in a horror movie I tend to enjoy. Was there more of this awesomeness, or was this an isolated instance of awesome?

Edgar Cayce delivered all of his 'readings' when he was in a state of self-induced hypnosis. The first time he did it, though (curing his own bad case of laringititis (sp???)), he was hypnotized by someone else.so you're somewhat hoping that in a hypnotic state you become prophetic/solutionistic (totally not a word) as Cayce ( ... )
