My room mate's alarm has been going off now for about 10 minutes. He's a heavy sleeper, so it's loud. I don't really care about that normally because he turns it off when he gets up. Even though I doubt either of them would care enough to come up to my room and grab even one rat, they'd be too worried about getting their guitars and amps out first.
--that made me LOL. An evac plan is a good idea though and keeping a bag near your bed to throw the important things in before you run for cover is a good idea too. Hope your roommates are receptive when you run it by them.

Oh, and alarms suck. I would have killed if I had to keep hearing that. When I lived in the dorms my neighbor was a notorious snooze button pusher and every damn morning I would hear her alarm through the wall.
