1. change locks on max's door and hand out spare keys to your friends that he doesn't know
2. super-glue the thermostat switch to timed or alternatively, threaten to super-glue max's balls to his face if he doesn't stop
3. tell unknown individuals in your house that max talks about them all the time and keeps pictures of them in his wallet.
shit one dude. bad housemates are the absolute worst.
