That's what my dad always says. When he comes back from traveling, he always points out that though Europe and the US both have race relation problems, the major difference is that the US chooses to address them and Europe does not.

Americans do tend to have an exaggerated view of most of their problems. Racism is nasty here, but it's even worse in most other places. And I think in Europe it's especially bad with regard to the growing Middle Eastern/South Asian population.

Is it racism when both people are white?
isn't it more like nationalism. Not the good kind like 4th of july barbecue patriotism, but the bad kind like the Nazis.
