Looking at a poetry site I go on I saw a contest to write poems for soldiers. It reminded me of someone I knew who was killed in Afghanistan on his first tour. He was 20.

This was another piece I wrote for my Creative Writing course but it involves characters I want to write a lot more about. It's a few pages long, but if you have a spare moment I would appreciate you reading it.
