Very nice chapter. I love how Akito just seems to know what's going on, but I'm curous about Kureno's presence. I can't wait for the next installment!

Well, it's because Shigure's a squealer and tells Akito everything. Naughty dog :)

Don't read much into Kureno, this story is v. AU in that he and Uo have no relationship whatsoever. He's just there as backup muscle.
