I just watched a Discovery Channel on Pregnancy (there wasn't much on!). And usually, on documentaries and stuff, they just blur out everything below the waist during birth (so all you really see is the mom sweaty and screaming in pain...). But no, Discovery just has to be different, so they have this *huge* zoomed-in shoot of the baby's head

Epidurals, meaning the giant fucking needle they shove in to your spine? That sounds like it would hurt, yeah. I figure you're screwed either way. But you get a bundle of love out of it! Right? ...Right?

Eww...only if it's normal. Maybe just because I *hate* pain, especially since they described it as "the legendary pain of childbirth." Yeah thanks, Discovery, for the positive thoughts. And just-born babies look like aliens!
