Yeah that is a very complicating question, especially for you. One time when I was younger and kind of obnoxious, I gave this girl crap for her primarily identifying as Native American when she is only a quarter and doesn't look Native at all. Growing up a bit, I saw it was the wrong thing to do... I have three identities and they have a hierarchy with #1 being American, then Russian, and then Jewish. I'll always tell everyone I'm from California, which is mostly accurate. I grew up there.

Yeah, it can be a complicated question; oftentimes people want a simple answer, which makes things even more complicated :P
