your guy is burdened by a fear of you dumping him - that's normal for someone screwed over before, but haven't all of us been the victim? It's also normal if you have a history of lovin and leavin. And what if he leaves you? Are you ok with it, cause if you are then you might be making promises you cannot keep anyway.
You're beautiful and obviously smart - i'd try to have as much fun as possible with your guy and let life take you where it takes you.
