Heart breaking!! And yet i love it
ps: i've just noticed
-great things. “ Reid looked up at Morgan with those pained and confused and all-too knowledgeable eyes. “Terrible,” he admitted with a jerky nod, “but great (did you get this from Harry Potter?

Thanks very much, I'm really glad that you liked it.
Yeah...*snorfles* not one of my most original moments, I'll grant. It's just that I was re-watching the first Harry Potter film, and I really liked that line and the way it was delivered. it just seemed to strike a chord.
Very sorry for the late reply.

Oh, God, that was amazing. The dialog and the little details about what the characters are doing - Reid flinched, drawing back in on himself, his face scrunched in anguish and pain and a desperate needy sadness. and Morgan's thoughts wrap together perfectly and form this cohesive piece that could very well have been cannon, the characterization is that spot on. And your descriptions make it so easy to imagine, and...

gkflg it's amazing.

Wow. Thanks so much, that's really high praise. Seriously, to hear that the characterisation is accurate and that it could have been canon is just...wow.
Thank you so much, I'm really glad that you enjoyed this, and I'm so sorry for the lateness of this reply.

Great fic! I love the idea of Reid-gone-dark, and you pulled it off beautifully. I especially liked that you focused rather on the consequences of his actions and on the impact it had on the BAU team. (Rather like they do it in the show, when they focus on the characters' reaction instead of the gory details.
Would you consider turning this into a series? (Yes, I am greedy...)

Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked my dark Reid. It is an interesting concept, and I'm glad I managed to pull it off here for you.
I'm also glad that you liked the format of focussing on the aftermath of the act, as I wasn't too sure how that would go down.
To be honest, I'm probably going to tinker with this concept a little more anyway, so I'm probably going to do seperate little dark Reid fics as well as maybe do a little bit more to this one.
We'll watch this space.
Thanks very much for taking the time to read and review.

Love love love this! Too bad Morgan can't just take Reid home with him to make sure he never kills again....and have him for himself

Aww thanks, I'm glad that you liked this.
Yeah, that would be a good development. I think I may tinker with this thing a little more, so we'll see what happens. You never know!
Really sorry for the latness of this reply.

Wow, that was amazing. I'm intrigued by the idea of evil!Reid, because of how well he empathizes with some of the unsubs, and you pulled it off perfectly. The last line made me shiver.

Thank you so much, I'm so glad that this was believable for you.
Perfectly? Wow, thanks. That's certainly something that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I'm glad that you liked the last line, I wasn't sure how well it was going to work, so it's a great relief to hear that you liked it.
Yeah, I always thought that Reid has kind of a fine line going between eccentric genius and unbalanced genius. You're right, he empathises with the unsubs quite a lot. I think we should watch out for that one...
Sorry for this reply being so late, and thanks once again.
