The more I think about it, the more I'm offended by some Freudian bullcrap offered as "science" and "nature" in Literary Arts this afternoon. A female student informed us that it's natural for women to want to be men. It certainly sounded like sexism to me, but since it's coming from a female...

And then I went on Feministing, and got even angrier

i actually didn't find it that offensive...she was merely presenting something she'd heard and wondering what we thought of it.

what i actually found was more offensive was automatically assuming we were going to endorse Obama without even any pretense of even considering the Republican side...
