back up plans are the shit
what you have to do is set up a ladder of achievment
like for example, my highest career ambition right now is a CA
but there are always back ups/alternatives
like there are lower levels of accounting that can still provide a decent living in case i dont have the patience to study my ass off till CA
you also should think of a totally different fiend you might want to/be able to go into in case your stream doesnt work out at all
and then you're set!
there are so many people out there earning a decent living without post secondary education. like any kind of a full time clerical position will start you off with 25K a year. its not great but its much better than nothing, considering you're doing like reception, which requires no intelligence at all

k, im not sure if im still making relevant points, so good night

You know, most of the time, I don't even think about it but somehow create back-up plans. For example, since I haven't been accepted to York yet, I have already been thinking of what to do if I am not accepted for September. Also, once I am accepted (NO BACK-UP PLAN FOR THAT!!!! :p) I will finish my bachelor's and then see how I feel. Also, there is a lot of choice with psych, so if I don't like one area, I could always switch my focus to another.
Then comes graduate school......Oh man...I'm so scared! lol

yet, you still have to think about what you are going to be doing WHILE finishing your bachelor's. ie getting a job relevant to your degree!
or would you be able to make a decent living in case the fire is out by the time graduate school comes?

Decent, yes. But not enough for a family. Unless I marry a rich doctor...hmmm... :p
I know I want to work with children, that is not a question. There are so many different options with it, I think that as time passes, I will narrow down on a final destination, even if it doesn't end up being a child psychologist.
