Lord Almighty, finished at last! For those of you wondering where the hell I've been these last few months, I am finished at last!

I have finally finished the first draft of my first novel. While I have written unpublished books for ten years, I have never before made a book of fiction intended for a market.

Many factors were involved in my not ever reconnecting with you, and in no short fault of mine, my stupidity, and stubborness, and listening to my soon to be ex wife. Hello Jeremy. I've been wondering what's become of you since I left El Centro. I tend to put people I know into my stories, in one fashion or another, so a rolodex of personalities flips around and around in my mind.

"Where'd Jeremy go?" I'd wonder as I imagined a climactic battle between space aliens.

"I'm right here," says Jeremy.

"No, no, not Jeremy G. The other Jeremy."

"Why, he's up in Portland with his daughter.",

"Sorry, still wrong Jeremy." If you recall, I know at least three. Popular name. But quite different people!
