There used to be a link to ask questions of the LIVEJOURNAL team... FAQ's and the like.

Can anyone provide me a link? I'd like to report a recent glitch and TEAR THEM A NEW ASS...

Has anyone else had weird friendings and unfriendings???

Those weird friendings are usually just Bot accounts. If it's a name you don't recognise and the journal is all in Russian with a load of random pictures and has lots of friends but very few 'friends of' it's probably a bot. Then if you hover over the wee icon next to the name and the option 'report a Bot' comes up (among others) and you just click on that. Lj's normally pretty good at dealing with them.

If it's not that, then go to the top of your profile page and click the 'Help' option which will take you to the FAQs and stuff.

I'll check, I didn't see any Help options last night when this happened. But it's not Bots, it's an UNFRIENDING, which means from my account, a box was ticked, and I DID NOT TICK IT, of that I am damned sure.

Of course it cause the friend in question unnecessary trauma... as you can appreciate. We've lived through some weirdness before, haven't we? But this just was uncanny...

I don't always log off from my account, which means it's left open. What if some strange fucker can come in and click my flist at will... this sort of sh*te shouldn't happen with a paid account.

I'm totally pissed off about it and I will not leave it alone.... I must be PMSssing!!

Ugh! yes I've had a few of those, they're usually Russian and I don't know them, I tend to ignore them then get unfriended, LOL like Clara said the link is at the top of your profile page if you need it.

'cept it wasn't bots... it was an UNfriending!! which I did NOT do. I'm so pissed about this, I need to chew someone's head off.

Rosie I have been proud of LJ because they have been getting rid of the bots pretty quickly. I have had a couple of them friend me and then LJ kicks them out pretty soon after.

FUck LJ... they are always creating havoc, with their new features which screw up everything else.... not bots in my case, an UNfriending, Nancy... can you imagine, if overnight you get a message that I unfriended you??? It's awful, you would feel so bad, and I would NEVER DO that. Not without some form of explanation. This is why I am so livid. I just want to chew someone's head over it. Get it out of my system, so to speak. It doesn't repair the hurt this friend experienced for God knows how many hours...

I've always like LJ over any other blogs... but since this new outfit with their damned new features that create more grief than pleasure, it makes me wonder. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Y'know?
