Job straight up got shit on. He went bankrupt, lost his family, and a bunch of other crap...because God was testing his loyalty. In addition, when his faith didn't waver God gave him his health back and said "sorry" for the rest of the shit that happened.

Though its just a fictional story in the bible (even to believers) and not meant to be a real account of someone's life.

It's a pretty harsh worse case scenario but there actually are some good messages within.
