My PS2 only likes porn.

I moved my PS2 into my bedroom so I could use it as a DVD player the other day. Since I starting to use it more for that function I have noticed one thing. My PS2 only likes porn. I have tried to watch the 6th volume of Speed Grapher and the 2nd season of Doctor Who. I have even tried to listen to the new Sevendust album to no avail. The only

How is it refusing to play? I've noticed that mine activates the copyright protect function (colors & brightness start cycling) on a lot of discs.

In my case, though, I tracked it to my VCR. My TV only has mono RCA in jacks, so I wanted to run the PS2 into my VCR through the cable to my TV. However, since the VCR is in the loop, the PS2 thinks I'm trying to copy the movie & the macrovision kicks in. So I either watch with occassionally cutting out & fucked up video, or with mono-only sound.

Or I just watch the damn thing on my computer.

I get disc read errors on everything but porn DVDs.
