Is that the right episode number? Hmm. There was some stuff I liked about this episode, and some stuff that makes me wonder what the hell is going on. This is a very disjointed reaction; it doesn't follow in any particular order except the way it runs through my brain.

Regarding Noah/Peter: I've never actually read any, but I'm a big fan of teh slash, you know that. My Heroes slash goggles are on every week. I'm especially craving some Sylar/Nathan slash, (yes, you read that right) but it's hard to find, and I'd write some myself, but I can't really imagine a scenario where it could happen consensually.

I am so worried that we still might lose Nathan; my brain has come up with at least 3 different ways for Nathan to lose the fight for Sylar's body, but only 2 for him to win and keep it. I'm driving myself fucking insane. But there's also things I've read that make me think maybe we won't lose Matt and we will actually lose Sylar. That would be awful too! Because a sick part of me loves Petlar.
Nathan, Peter and Sylar are my slash OT3. I want them all to live. Tri-Petrellicest. Guh, awesome. I want some.

Real life is kicking my ass right now so I haven't really been online and I'm about to pass out from exhaustion. But I wanted to mention that Peter's "wow I almost died" laugh totally creeped me out! I don't know what it was. I think it may be leftover effects of his character from Pathology creeping me out.

I thought this made a lot of sense to me, actually. Since the show began I theorized that cancer would only become worse with Claire's power. Now, Claire doesn't have to worry about that because her cells are perfect to begin with, but with any normal person, a serum of blood that speeds up cell formation? Should make that tumor grow to the size of a golf ball by the top of the hour. So HRG's explanation was perfectly laudable in my opinion.
Now, if you want to wank about retcon, how did the HEALER'S ability work? Since when does "+10 hp life force" get rid of all ailments? 0_o The healing ability has always seemed way too magical for my taste.

Heh, that's just...that's just what it's come to for me. Every week someone on my flist wonders about "Well what about the blood, huh? And why didn't it heal Nathan?"
Well, cause the writer's said so.
Yes, it's stupid, yes Claire's blood should NEVER have been even created as a plot device, and it has retcon written all over it. But someone did ask the writers. And they said "well, Nathan had his throat slit and he was already dead and they had no way to perform a proper blood transfusion without access to a hospital or equipment, and it can only bring someone back from the dead if the body hasn't BEEN dead that long, etc." And that's it, that's the answer whether it's a total BULLSHIT one or not. I mean, it's over now, right? It's not like we, as viewers, can fix the already-aired episode ( ... )

I rewatched the scene where Nathan comes magically back to life after he was shot by Future!Peter and I was pissed. Seriously. What bullshit, I say, even though I love Nathan dearly. He should have stayed dead. What, was Peter Prince Charming? Kiss him and he wakes up? Okay.
The time travel/alternate timeline thing isn't going to happen. I think Sylar in Matt's head is going to use Matt's ability to take over Matt fully, trapping Matt inside, and he's gonna look like Sylar. But how do we go from what just happened in "Tabula Rasa" to Sylar transforming back into Nathan? Does he do it of his own volition? Does he voluntarily believe if he assumes Nathan's life, he can atone for what he has done to Nathan's family by killing him and replace him, leaving behind the Sylar persona for good and eventually, he will really be Nathan? Will he tell Peter what has happened? He's had a penchant for telling the truth lately, ( ... )
