Fabulous. new Year . . new beginnings. It always seems so hopeful and good at the start. I'm really going to work on making it stick for me this year.

Christmas was lovely - full of family and much needed rest. AND we had snow (almost 2 inches) here in New Orleans a few days before the big day. Of course it quickly melted and we're back to 70-80 degrees but it was beautiful.

I hope your Christmas season was wonderful too and here's to a wonderful 2009!

My talents are quite limited, but I do so enjoy the comparison to that Molly character (I forget her name in the movie, but that was a classic)!

70 - 80 degrees, huh? Meanwhile, We've had snow, a lovely ice storm yesterday, and more snow is on the way. Laissez le bon temps rouler indeed!

We've had the strangest winter - that bizarre day of snow but mainly lots and lots of warm, humid days. Oh well, all the better for going to the parades in a couple of weeks!
