Otherwise, things went well. The weather is shitty, which makes my hips hurt, plus I hadn't eaten in a while, so I made my workout on the shorter end today, but still within my acceptable range. Had my Spanish homework done, got not only all the points but the bonus on the Spanish vocabulary quiz, peer edited somebody's paper in English that made ( Read more... )

When Sue picked me up from school today and took me to the shopping centre for a Cocoa Loco (ie. mocha frappe) for me and white chocolate frappe for herself from Gloria Jean's, she was like, "I'm going to have to run for hours on the treadmill to get rid of this!" and it was both strange and wonderful. And reading this reminded me of that.
Though, the amazingness of her body (considering she's gotta be at least late thirties) intimidates me and makes me reluctant to share any of my own body insecurities. She was a dancer (and I think still is), and she's got the whole tall, long-legged, beautifully proportioned, well-muscled thing happening. And I feel incredibly squat and pudgy despite my 168cm/63kg. Which still leaves me somewhat pudgy in certain areas.CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SCHOLARSHIP BB ( ... )

Thanks! Turns out it wasn't quite as good as I'd thought (when I looked it up, I was all "W00t, all but $8k!", but the number I was looking at for the tuition was per semester, sadly), but it's still nice. I'm kinda failing on the college front so far, having only applied to two other places, so it's nice to get my options broadened a bit.
