So, when this theatre thing says "approximately 3000 words in length", am I going to get knocked off for it being much closer to 4000? Because this is even without a lot of the stuff that I had intended to put in there; it's maybe 2/3 of all the stuff I wrote over the semester and a half so far ( Read more... )

At my uni, things were always +/- 10% so anything from 2700-3300 words would be fine :D

Oh, that's good. Thanks. I got it to 3374 or so, so I think that'll be okay. I'm giving up on it anyway, so whatever I've got had better be good, ;D

Don't you mean you have to masticate it for longer? Whee!
I learned that word recently and have completely destroyed its comic value by using it as much as possible. Plz. Sorry.

Ugh, my calculator died. Is yours one of those awesome graphic ones? That's the one that died for me. I've been stuck using my little old scientific one. Which is all well and good when you're doing trig, but once you hit the fun bastard graphs it kind of goes downhill.

Why am I talking about this? Um.

YAYSPRINGBREAK.

Oh yeah. I spent all night on the couch with my laptop masticating.
Hee. Good word, good word.

Is yours one of those awesome graphic ones?

Yeah, actually. They make us get those once you get past a certain level of math. I think I'd had my old one for more than 3 years when it got nicked. Got the new one in February or so, and it's the TI-84 kind (dunno if you use those too), so I was hoping that it'd have that kind of an extrapolation best fit curve thing even though I knew the 83 didn't, but no such luck.

Oh yeah. I tried to get away with not using one at all for 4.5ish months and borrowing a graphing for tests, which was not fun as it basically meant that I was doing none of my homework. Because it's impossible to derive/integrate half of the bitchy equations they give you by hand.

YAYSPRINGBREAK.Yay indeed. Tis great, I've got time for stuff. I can ( ... )

*lmao* I wish Diet soda would keep me awake. Hehe, I'm either awake too much or sleeping too much most of the time.

Sounds like you're going to be busy. I'm so not looking forward to college, and I need to sort my schedule out eventually. Or I'm going to get nervous and just freaking not go again *sighs*

Love your take on stale popcorn - I'd have bitched and thrown it out. An optimist? nice... *smiles*

Me too. The fact that it had caffeine wasn't really the major factor in my grabbing it from the counter so much as that it was Dr. Pepper and close and I was thirsty. But it helped, I think, especially Friday during classes. I was only really falling asleep during the last two (but they were the first where there was time where I wasn't taking an exam, doing a lab, or discussing some play).

Sounds like you're going to be busy.

Not anymore, lol. A week of nothing, here I come!

Or I'm going to get nervous and just freaking not go again.

Oh, you should go. You're going to be a medical assistant or some such, no? That's killer cool. And short, methinks. You're on the job in less than 2 years, right?

Not an optimist, really. Just binging. It wasn't bad, though. It's bad today, though, because it's been getting stale more as it rains more.

Still, 22 months is pretty good. Especially because these types of places are really good with helping you get a job after, no? The commercials oft say things about having guaranteed jobs the day they step out of the school.
