I it’s no secret to anyone who knows me either through my LJ, my FB or in RL that I like to do Live Action RolePlay (LARP). It is a brilliant hobby, in my view it indulges all the best things in life. It encourages social bonding, imagination, creativity and give people a chance to be who they would like to be rather than what they have to be to

I think what you have written here should be circulated in its entirety among the organisers of the LARP system you play. It very clearly, sensitively and thoroughly makes out the issue, why it should be addressed and how so. If the subject needs to be broached with a calm head, then what you have written here does exactly that.
