hospital scrubs.

white may be a problem, buy maybe not.

your local hospital can hook you up.

i used to get them for free when in college, now they charge me 10 bucks..... so i don't bother.

i remember the light greens, dark blues, burgandy, and i seem to remember white - but it was rare.

Thanks! I had no idea you could buy recycled tyvek stuff. I wonder how well it accepts a dye.

You were thinking of dying them? Then Scrubs probably would be out, and so would anything synthetic. You'd want 100% cotton, maybe rayon, maybe silk, linen, etc. Any blend will cause the dye to take either in an uneven way or differently per fiber. You can find lots of blank clothing for dying at http://www.dharmatrading.com/

Some of it is good quality, some of it not so. But if you are dying anything, this is the place that will tell you how on their site for free.

Yes, I'm thinking of dying (or rather, fabric paint markers). Thanks for the warning about the scrubs.
