I'm not going to apologize for my lack of posts of late, as my life has been sufficiently busy as of late. However that doesn't mean I don't have thoughts in my head ( Read more... )

Hm. I'm interested enough to give the challenge a try. (Tomorrow I will post something along the lines of "OMGWTFBBQ OW MOTHERFUCKER".)

Heh, cool. I was thinking of starting next week because I'll be busy this week and because I'm a slave to the arbitrary date conventions and would like to have a nice M-W-F schedule. But glad to not be alone :)

Also from experience (i.e. exercising suddenly after not) I'm pretty sure that yes you probably will be like that. However if you manage to keep it up soon you'll be like "through the pain I can feel the POWER!!!! Muahahaha!" Or maybe that's a sign that I'm a budding bloodmage and should stop.

If it's anything like hitting and kicking things, then yes I will definitely be in the "the POWER!!!!111!one!" camp. I rather like exercise when it can make me noticeably more badass. (Running = not badass; you run away from scary things, not towards them unless you're Buffy or Indiana Jones. Useful but not glamorous. Hitting/lifting heavy things = badass.)

My upper body is abysmally, pathetically weak and not worthy of said challenge.

Bit late in replying, but I should point out that the challenge has categories for the entire range of the physically fit, as well as "alternative" pushups to make it easier for people who can do less than five (which is actually probably most people who rarely work out). You don't have to do it of course, but I do think it would be rather cool, even if one doesn't make it all the way through

(faint cries of "join us!" and "one of us!" can be heard in the distance)

Oh, fine. But if I end up in the emergency room, I'll billing you.

Isn't it funny how the information age has rendered a 4 day reply as "late"? Honestly, I get antsy if I email people and don't hear from them by the end of the day.
