so here's the deal. I'm grounded. indefinitely. not because i've been drinking. or smoking. or doing drugs. or playing my music too loud. or being a smartass. it's because i don't do time management like my parents want me to. its not that i don't keep a calendar. not that i don't have a to do list. its because i don't budget my time on my calendar ( Read more... )

ted your parents are insane. i hope they read this too. (just my comment cuz if they read your post you wouldn't be going to MIT after all.) but seriously, someone needs to tell them they're insane. but think about this: as soon as you're gone, they have only your brother to harass! his uppance will come.

and i thought of a new brilliant strategy for WW '06. it's brilliant, if slightly not actually feasible. it could happen though. and we'd win. no doubt.

Congratulations on the decision!

I don't get grounded for not budgeting time, because this does not occur to my parents. Rather, I get yelled at whenever they remember/are particularly digruntled. I got my stuff thrown on the floor today because my drawer in the downstairs desk was messy. My dad is such an angry asian.
